TIR international road freight
Plan a China-origin international road shipment with the destination, transit corridor, cargo and customs responsibilities in view.
Discuss TIR Road FreightTIR is a customs transit system for goods moving in sealed load compartments across participating countries. It supports transit procedures; final import clearance, duties and taxes remain part of the destination plan.

Confirm the delivery address, transit countries and border-crossing plan before approving the route.
Agree commercial documents, transit arrangements, the responsible transport operator and destination customs clearance.
Confirm receiving hours, unloading access, final handoff and the update channel.
Illustrative planning example
A proposed Europe/Eurasia or Middle East corridor includes a connecting leg before or after the TIR movement. A corridor description alone does not establish that this separate leg or final delivery is available.
Establish who accepts each leg, customs control at transfers, and final import and delivery arrangements. North/Latin America requires ocean or air from China with destination trucking, rather than a direct road corridor from China.
This is a planning example. Confirm acceptance, the included work and the proposed timing for the actual shipment.
Business execution
Review the actual Europe, Eurasia or Middle East corridor, each transport leg, operator responsibilities and authorized border handoffs before approving the road shipment.
Agree who prepares each record and which work is included in the actual shipment scope.
Scope & changes
Confirm priced tasks, responsibility and the conditions that reopen a decision.
Confirm whether pricing uses vehicle, load, weight or another agreed unit, and which corridor and transport legs it covers.
Specify collection, cargo transfers, loading, unloading and possible waiting charges; clarify triggers and the responsible party.
Separate transit-related work, import clearance, duties and final delivery; confirm who arranges and pays each selected item.
Recheck route feasibility, transfer points, transit documents, schedule assumptions and charges; obtain approval for the revised itinerary before proceeding with the affected leg.
Recheck vehicle suitability, handling equipment, measurements and document consistency; approve revised loading or unloading arrangements and record the receiving responsibilities.
Shipment records
Agree the actual record owners, match the shipment facts and identify the work still awaiting confirmation.
Shipping network
Discuss TIR road options for a specified inland destination and an agreed transit corridor.
Review TIR feasibility for the selected country and corridor, including any connecting transport legs.
Plan ocean or air transport with destination trucking. These are not direct overland routes from China.
Before requesting a TIR quote
Confirm the supplier address and final delivery point, including loading and unloading access.
Send package count, outer measurements, gross weight and handling requirements. Tell us whether these are final or estimates.
Ask which collection, cross-border transport, handling, customs-related and destination delivery charges are included or separate.
Start with the product, packing list, photos, packed dimensions and weight. Flag special attributes before booking; acceptance is reviewed for the specific shipment.
Request the proposed corridor, delivery endpoint and estimated schedule in writing. If the cargo, documents or itinerary change, ask the team to reconfirm the plan.
Use the same cargo measurements, pickup point and delivery endpoint. Compare included work, separate charges, validity and responsibility for documents and delivery.
